The Prince of Peace
Daniel Kuje-From His book “The Soverirnty of Jesus Christ”
I love one of the statements of Bishop Marian Eleganti, an outstanding Swiss Catholic Bishop, in his document against the Abu Dhabi declaration of febuarry 4th, 2019, co singed by Pope Francis, head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican city, and Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in Cairo, the duo endorsed the document,
In his response to the document, Marian stated “there is danger in the attempt to create a reign of peace without Christ” who is the Prince of it”.
Mediums employed by humanitarians, revolutionists and politicians in their proclamation of world peace have consistently failed throughout history, according to Eleganti, only Christ and his tenements (The gospel) could truly renew the human heart from within, the bishop emphasized.
I think when you speak in this manner skeptics would say you are a fundamentalist, but it remains true that only the Prince of peace could give true peace, Christ is the prince of peace, Isaiah 9:6, we cannot archive true lasting inner peace in lives, homes and communities without the gospel, “loving your neighbor as yourself, forgive, so you too can be forgiven, love your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you and many other didactics are all examples of the path of peace as thought by Jesus who is the prince of it, lives that are govern by Christ usually experiences true inner peace, communities, cities and nations whom Christ is Lord experiences his peace which the world cannot give.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27.
